Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts was born in Atlanta on October 28 1967 to Betty Lou Bredemus and Walter Grady Roberts. Roberts is from the fourth generation of Roberts family that resided in Atlanta. The story began with her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts who was a farm. Her father had keen interest from a young age in theatre. He was a part of the Emory University campus in 1952 and also in a variety of productions around Atlanta. He joined the Air Force in 1953. During his time stationed in Biloxi Mississippi was cast in an army production that featured Betty Lou Bredemus who was part of Air Force. In 1955, they got married and their child Eric Anthony was born. Walter was an undergraduate at Tulane University, New Orleans Louisiana. In the year 1957, they were discharged from the air force and Walter started his education at Tulane. In 1960, the family relocated into Decatur Georgia where Walter began working with Atlanta's Academy Theater and the Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. The year 1964 was when Walter along with Betty Lou began production on a local children's Saturday morning television show named Bum Bum and His Buddies that they funded on their own. The Actors and Writers Workshop was created in the year 1964 and ran for 6 years. They had two more children, Lelisa Billingsley (1965) (also known by the name Lisa) as well as Julia Billingsley (1967) (also known by the same name Julie).
