Ani Difranco
Angela Maria Ani DiFranco, is a singer-songwriter and Canadian American. Her catalog includes more than twenty albums. The music of DiFranco is classified as folk, alternative and rock but also has influences from jazz and hip-hop. Ani Difranco is widely recognized as an icon of feminist music. In 1990, she was among the first people to launch her own record label. DiFranco was born in Buffalo New York on September 23 1970 she was the daughter of Elizabeth (Ross) and Dante Americo DiFranco The couple had made acquaintance while studying at in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
