Angela Sun was born in Santa Clara County in California on the 19th of October, 1979. She is an American journalist and sportscaster. She is also a documentary film maker and TV presenter. Angela Sun is a multi-award winning journalist, sportscaster and producer. She received a Bachelor's Degree in sociology and communications at the University of California. Sun's surfing skills were outstanding and she participated in several pro-am competitions. She was sponsored by major brands like Roxy Reef Billabong Vans. Sun was enticed into the world of entertainment because of the recognition she received. In the following years, she was an investigative filmmaker and journalist as and an athlete. In 2014, Sun launched Platic Paradise: The Great Pacific Garbage Patch a full-length documentary on the effects of plastic pollution in the oceans and the impact it has on the environment which she wrote directed and produced herself.
