Lis Wiehl is an American journalist and legal analyst who previously worked as the Fox News analyst.
She is an adjunct law professor of law at New York Law School. Prior to that she served as an associate professor of University of Washington Law School. She was a legal commentator on Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factor as well as National Public Radio. She has been a frequent guest for The O'Reilly Factor as well Lou Dobbs Today, The Kelly File With Megyn Kelly with Neil Cavuto and The Kelly File.
Wiehl completed her studies at West Valley High School, Yakima. She was born in Yakima. She graduated with a bachelor's degree at Barnard College, followed by a master of arts in literature from University of Queensland, in 1985.
Wiehl was a prosecutor in the past for The US Attorney. She was the legal correspondent on the NPR program All Things Considered. She served as "the the deputy chief investigator for Democrats in the House Judiciary Committee at the moment of Clinton's impeachment." She worked as a professor of law and an appointment in the University of Washington School of Law Seattle from 1995 until 2001. Between 2001 and 2017, Wiehl was an analyst in the field of law for Fox News.
