Katherine Jean Bolduan (also known professionally as Kate Bolduan) is an American broadcast reporter. Most famously, she is the host of CNN's morning show At This Hour. She had previously been a cohost of the CNN morning programs on weekdays, New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan is part of CNN's award-winning presidential election coverage in 2012. Bolduan was a Washington DC-based congressional correspondent who covered the activities of both the US House of Representatives and Senate. Bolduan was the Capitol Hill Unit member when she reported on the Congress cycle, including events like the debates to increase the federal credit limit or the deliberations of the super committee. The work she has done for her general assignments included reports on the Christmas Day Bombing, Obamacare's Supreme Court Decision and implementation of the government's stimulus plan in 2009. She was hired by CNN at the end of 2007 and was a national correspondent in CNN Newsource. She provided feature stories and breaking news reports to over 800 CNN Newsource Affiliates as a national reporter. In the past, she was employed by NBC News MSNBC as well as WTVD-TV. She lives in New York City, with her husband and their two kids.
