Ellie Goulding

Ellie Goulding is a British musician and singer. The singer was born Elena Jane Goulding on 30 December, 1986 in Hereford. She gained the attention of the world in 2010 with her singles "Starry Eyed" and "Guns and Horses," British vocalist Ellie Goulding rapidly rose to the top of the charts due to her energetic electronic pop. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Her unique soprano sibilance and knack of writing catchy yet emotionally earnest tracks, Goulding, much like her predecessors Kate Bush and Imogen Heap is at the top of the current mainstream and artistic, non-conformist pop.Goulding was soon moving from blogs to print media, gaining recognition from major publications such as The Guardian and fielding offers from record companies. Polydor Records signed her to a record label deal and she started preparing for the launch of her debut album.
