Jennifer Tilly

Jennifer Tilly has won an Academy Award for her work as an American Canadian and an expert poker player. Tilly, who was raised and grew up in Los Angeles (US), made her first acting appearance in 1983, in "Oh Madeline," with whom she had a very small part. Her film debut came with the film of 1984 "No Small Affair" and since then, she's been unstoppable usually appearing in multiple productions every year. Her debut was a great start to her acting career. At the beginning of her career, she was part of popular series including 'Hillstreet Blues and 'Cheers as well as 'Frasier. While she mainly was in small roles, it was much more than what a novice actor would expect. Her much-anticipated breakthrough came in Woody Allen's film 'Bullets over Broadway'. The film earned her nominations for an 'Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress.' Then she appeared in a handful of internationally-acclaimed films, including 'Bound' and "Liar Liar.
